13. Forum Wood Building Nordic 2024 (WBN)
The 13th Forum Wood Building Nordic (WBN) in Oslo focuses on the wooden architecture and constructions in the future perspective. Topics to be covered at WBN 2024 are dealing with amongst others artificial intelligence and the wood building industry, barriers and harmonization of standardization across the Nordic region, and sustainable architecture and urban design.
About the Forum Wood Building Nordic
The Forum Wood Building Nordic is a part of the International Wood Construction Conference organization (Forum Holzbau). The Forum Wood Building Nordic is the leading conference for wood building in the Nordic countries. The conference brings together academics and practitioners to exchange experiences and learn the latest developments in the field, featuring lectures by international speakers accompanied by an exhibition where different organizations present their latest products and services. WBN is also a B2B-network, targets a wide spectrum of companies from Norway, the Nordic and central Europe, and representatives from public authorities in the sector of timber construction.
The Forum Holzbau family is a joint platform of the Aalto University School of Science and Technology Helsinki (FI), the Bern University of Applied Sciences (CH), the Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences (DE), the Technical University of Munich (DE), the Vienna University of Technology (AT) and the University of Northern British Columbia (CA).
